WGA/ HEROES 'Rally Report'
Some lucky fans got the chance to meet with the cast and crew and show their
support...

I just wanted to let everyone know what went on at the Heroes rally today held at
Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

It really wasn't an event, but more like a true rally. It was a bunch of writers and
actors standing on the corner hanging out. I’m not saying it wasn't really cool, just
that it wasn't an organized event with security and all. I was able to just walk up to
whoever I wanted and start talking to them. Here is a list of the actors and writers I
saw there:

Tim Kring (Creator), Jeph Loeb (Exec-Producer), Greg Beeman (Producer/ Director),
he is the only one I didn't get to sign my comic, Jack Coleman (HRG), Sendhil
Ramaurthy (Mohinder), Masi Oka (Hiro), Greg Grunberg (Matt), Ali Larter (Niki),
Christine Rose (Angela), Dania Ramirez (Maya) and Dana Davis (Monica).

Everyone was very cool. They were all happy to sign my comic book and take
pictures with who ever wanted to. Sorry no pictures of me. I’m camera shy, but I did
snap off a bunch of pics. There were a lot of people who were there just to see the
stars but the writers were happy to have the support there.

They did give out t-shirts and comics, but they were scarce. I was lucky to get a
comic book. It is the one they gave out at Wizard World Chicago last year. It has the
Niki/ Jessica Tim Sale painting with the mirror from Volume 1. I got all the actors and
writers that were there to sign it.

Ali showed up with a bunch of cookies and fudge that she said she had made
yesterday and was giving them out to everyone. They weren't bad. She’s super hot in
person, by the way, if anyone was wondering. So were the other actresses that were
there including Christine Rose, she is a lot younger in person.

Tim gathered all the actors together to sing a couple of Christmas Carols. Greg
(Grunberg) tuned in with an impromptu Chanukah song. I wish I had brought my
video camera. He was a clown. Very funny. Have you seen Adrian Pasdar's youtube
videos? He was a lot like that. And then sometimes he was very normal. Actors, what
are you gonna do?

Tim then spoke to everyone thanking the fans that showed up for their support,
including a mother and son who traveled from Utah to be there. Tim had all the
actors and writers sign one of the picket signs and gave it to them along with some
schwag. He was very cool about it. I think he really does care about what the fans
think.

I spoke to Tim's manager about the 1000 Cranes for HEROES campaign. He told me
that they had already received around 600 origami cranes at Universal and as soon
as they got 1000 they were going to send them over to the HEROES set. Very cool.
Keep sending them in. They appreciate the support.

All around it was a very cool experience for me. Thanks to Shangrila for letting me
know about it. I will be happy to attend future events/rallies like this in L.A. It was a
lot of fun.
