A man of duality whose secret life can’t seem to stay out of his family life. Mr. Bennet
works for an organization that seems to be both above and outside the law. Currently
referred to as “OWI” or, The Organization Without Initials; this organization seems to have
a long history of tracking those around the world whom display certain gifts normal
humans don’t possess. Not much is known about his work at the OWI except that he
seems to be running at least this division of the organization. We know that he answers to
people higher up then him, we just aren’t sure how high up that ladder goes yet.

The organization itself seems well funded and powerful enough to operate around local
law enforcement. But it seems obvious that their links to the government are limited at
best since Mr. Bennet was unable to get Claire or himself out of meeting with the FBI even
though it was clear he didn’t want to be there. It’s possible that there is a strong
relationship with the government but that it is buried so deep that it makes it difficult to
maneuver very easily. Whatever the case, the true motives of the OWI are still unclear. Are
they working to end this cropping of super genomes or are they working to better them and
help them meet their true potential? It’s all together possible its somewhere in-between.

What we do know about Bennet is that he is a devoted father. He loves and dotes on his
two children as much as he can. Especially his daughter Claire whom he is aware now has
gifts much like the people he has spent his life tracking. Claire was adopted around the
age of three when her mother had a run in with the OWI. Her mother was apparently killed,
though its unclear if it was because of the actions of the OWI itself or if they were
attempting to help her and failed. Bennet has spent many hours protecting his daughter
from outside forces he claims will only want to hurt her. Unfortunately his passion for his
children often quickly becomes obsession and forces him to take actions that are
questionable. Recently he had his associate from OWI, the Haitian, wipe the memory’s of
his wife, Sandra, his son Lyle, and Claire's best friend Zach. He also attempted to wipe
Claire’s mind of any memory of her own power or of the events that might lead her into
danger. But it appears that his attempts on Claire failed when the Haitian went rogue and
told Claire what Bennet asked him to do. His relationship with his daughter just became
more complicated then he had ever hoped.

His actions may at times be immoral and dangerous but it’s seems for now that Mr. Bennet
is simply an overprotective father. Its possible the reason he works so hard in the OWI is
because of his relationship with Claire, though we know he has been working there for
sometime before Claire and her birth mother came along. His true motives may not play
out anytime soon but at some point he is going to have to make a choice of working with
or against the people that Claire aligns herself with.
